Dil felsefesinde yapısalcı ve postyapısalcı yaklaşımlar

Abstract

Geçmişten günümüze felsefeye ilişkin düşünüşlerde önemli bir yer tutan dil felsefesi, yapısalcı ve postyapısalcı filozoflarca geliştirilerek felsefe tarihinde önemli bir yer edinmiştir. Yapısalcılığın dilin bir sistem olduğu iddiasıyla başlayan ve postyapısalcılığın bunu reddedip, dilin asla bir sistem olamayacağını söylemesiyle devam eden bu iki felsefe geleneğinin dile dair bütün görüşleri bu çalışmada işlenecektir. Çalışmanın amacı yapısalcı ve postyapısalcı geleneğin önde gelen düşünürlerinden olan Ferdinand de Saussure, Roland Barthes ve Jacques Derrida’yı ele alarak dilin yapısı araştırmak ve dil-anlam sorununu tartışmaktır. Saussure’ün göstergebilimini başlangıç noktası olarak aldığımız bu çalışma Barthes’ın yeni bir göstergebilim anlayışı getirmesiyle mit kavramını temele koymasını ve Derrida’nın tüm felsefe geleneğine başkaldırarak dile ilişkin tüm olguları yeniden değerlendirmesiyle son bulacaktır.

The philosophy of language, which has an important place in philosophical thought from past to present, has been developed by the structuralist and poststructuralist philosophers and has an important place in the history of philosophy. In this study, all the opinions of these two philosophical traditions, which starts with the claim of structuralism that language is a system and which poststructuralism refuses to do so and says that the language can never be a system, will be examined. The aim of the study is to examine the structure of language and to discuss the language-meaning problem by taking Ferdinand de Saussure, Roland Barthes and Jacques Derrida, one of the leading thinkers of the structuralist and poststructuralist tradition. This work, which we take as the starting point of Saussure's semiotics, will end with Barthes's understanding of the myth with his new notion of semiotics, and with a reassessment of all the language related phenomena by rebelling against the entire philosophy tradition of Derrida.
