Aizanoi'dan iki heykel

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Aizanoi'da 2013 yılı kazı çalışmalarında bulunan iki adet heykel ikonografik ve stilistik özellikleri yönünden değerlendirilmiştir. Heykellerden kadın olanı antik dönem heykel sanatında ölümlü kadınların betimleme özelliği olan Pudicitia, erkek olanı da çıplak hero tipinde betimlenmiştir. Kadın heykeli tipi daha çok Geç Klasik ve Helenistik dönem tarzında betimlenmiştir. Erkek heykeli ise daha çok çıplak pelerinli oluşuyla, Klasik dönem sanat anlayışını (MÖ 5.-4. yy.) yansıtmaktadır. Her iki eser, Aizanoi'a ithal olarak getirilmiş olup, gösterdikleri stil bakımından Hadrianus-Antoninler dönemi sanat anlayış tarzını yansıtmaktadır. Aynı zamanda bu iki eser, Aizanoi antik kentinin MS 2. yy.'da artan zenginlik ve refah seviyesini yansıtır şekilde kaliteli işçilik sergilemektedir.

in this study we wi/1 eva/uate iconographic and stylistic characteristics of two sculptures, which were found during the excavations of 2013 in Aizanoi. The female figure depicted as pudiciti type of morto/ women in ancient sculpture even as the male figure described in nude hero type. Female statue depicted in the style of tfıe Late Classical and Hellenistic period. The nude male statue with o cloak reflects the art of the Classical Period (5-4. c. BCE). Both works were imported to Aizanoi and ref/ecfs the sense of Hadrianus-Antonine Period art in terms of their style. On the other hand, these two works reflects the increasingly high /eve/ of prosperity in the 2nd century in Aizanoi by the quality of their craftsmanship.
