Kitsch (Kiç) olgusunun sanat eğitiminde estetik beğeniler açısından sorgulanması

Abstract

Özet- Bu araştırmanın amacı, farklı eğitim düzeylerinde kitsch olgusunun öğrencilerin estetik tercihleri üzerindeki etkisini belirlemek ve elde edilen sonuçları sanat ve estetik eğitiminin niteliği açısından tartışmaktır. Araştırma nitel ve nicel veri toplama teknikleri kullanılarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın örneklemi Kocaeli ve Denizli illerinden farklı eğitim seviyelerinde (ilköğretim, ortaöğretim ve yükseköğretim) 180 öğrencinin katılımıyla oluşturulmuştur. Araştırma 2011-2012 eğitim-öğretim yılının güz döneminde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma verileri araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen 20 soruluk bir anket yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Araştırma verileri ankete katılan birey sayısına ve eserlere verilen tepkilere göre hem kendi içinde hem de gruplar arasında yüzde ve frekans hesapları ile analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca anketten elde edilen açık uçlu cevapların betimsel analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, ilköğretimden yükseköğretime kadar tüm öğrenci grupları kitsch olgusunun etkisi altındır. Ancak özellikle üniversite düzeyinde sanatla uğraşan öğrencilerin kitsch resimlere daha az yöneldiği tespit edilmiştir. Öğrenci gruplarının almış olduğu sanat dersleri bağlamında nitelikli sanat eserleri ile olabildiğince çok karşılaşmasının kitsch’e eğilimi azalttığı görülmüştür. The aim of this study is to specify the impact of Kitsch fact on the aesthetic choices of the students in different education all levels, and to discuss the results attained in terms of the qualification of art and aesthetic education. The study is conducted by using qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques. The sample of the study is constituted with the attendance of 180 students in different educational levels (primary education, secondary education and higher education). The study was conducted in the fall of 2011-2012 academic year. The data of the study are attained through a survey that has 20 question improved by the researcher. The data are analyzed with percentage and frequency counts both in itself and between groups according to person numbers participate in the survey and reactions given productions. Besides, it is carried out the descriptive analysis of open-ended responses gained from the survey. According to the results of research, from primary education to the higher education, all student groups are under the influence of kitsch fact. However, it is confirmed that the students at tend to art especially in university level less incline to kitsch pictures. It is observed that the confrontation of the students groups with qualified art objects as much as possible as part of art courses taken reduce tendency to kitsch.
