Denizli ilköğretim okullarında okul-çever ilişkileri üzerine öğretmen görüşleri

Abstract

Bu arastırmanın amacı Denizli il merkezindeki ilkögretim okullarında görev yapan ögretmenlerin okul-çevre iliskileri hakkındaki görüslerini ve algılarını belirlemektir. Arastırmanın örneklemini 2006?2007 ögretim yılında Denizli il merkezindeki resmi ilkögretim kurumlarında görev yapan 390 ögretmen olusturmaktadır. Ögretmenlere arastırmacı tarafından gelistirilen ve 64 sorudan olusan ölçek uygulanmıstır. Verilerin analizinde ortalama, standart sapma, t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi ve faktör analizi tekniklerinden yararlanılmıstır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre asagıdaki sonuçlara ulasılmıstır: ? Denizli il merkezindeki resmi ilkögretim okullarında görev yapan ögretmenlerin okul-çevre iliskisi hakkındaki görüslerine göre; cinsiyet, mezun olunan okul, ögrenci sayısı ve ögretmen sayısı degiskenlerinde anlamlı bir fark gözlenmistir. Okulun içinde bulundugu sosyo ekonomik durum, kıdem ve brans degiskenlerinde anlamlı bir fark gözlenmemistir. ? Denizli il merkezindeki resmi ilkögretim okullarında görev yapan Ögretmenlerin kendi okullarında yasanan okul-çevre iliskisi sorunlarına yönelik algıları ?orta? düzeydedir. Ögretmenlerin kendi okullarında yasanan okul-çevre iliskisi sorunlarına yönelik algılarının % 73,3'ü ?orta? düzeyde, % 14,1'i ?düsük? düzeyde % 12,6sı ise yüksek düzeydedir. ? Denizli il merkezindeki resmi ilkögretim okullarında görev yapan ögretmenlerin okul-çevre iliskisi sorunlarının kendi performansları üzerindeki etkilerine iliskin algıları cinsiyet, okulun içinde bulundugu sosyo ekonomik durum, ögrenci sayısı ve ögretmen sayısı degiskenlerinde anlamlı bir fark gözlenmistir. Kıdem, mezun olunan okul ve brans degiskenlerinde anlamlı bir fark gözlenmemistir.

The purpose of this study is to determine elementary school teachers? views and perceptions towards the school environment relationships in Denizli. The sample of the study consists of 390 teachers working for public elementary schools during 2006-2007 academic year. The 64 item scale developed by the researcher was administered to the subjects in order to collect data. The data has been analyzed by using the techniques such as mean, standard deviation, the t-test, the one way variance analysis and factor analysis. The following results have been reached according to the findings: ? According to the views of the teachers who work in central Denizli public schools towards the school-environment problems, there is significant difference in the variables of gender, the school which is graduated from, number of the students and number of the teachers. Whereas there is no significant difference in the variables of socio-economic level, seniority and branch. ? The perceptions of the teachers who are working at central Denizli elementary schools towards the school-environment problems have been found as ?moderate? level. The perceptions of the teachers towards school-environment problems are %73.3 percent moderate, % 14.1 percent low and % 12.6 percent high. ? According to the perceptions of the teachers who work in central Denizli public schools towards the school-environment problems affects on their own performance, there is significant difference in the variables of gender, socioeconomic level, number of the students and number of the teachers. Whereas there is no significant difference in the variables of seniority, the school which is graduated from and branch.
