İlkögretim müfettişlerinin denetim davranışlarına ilişkin ögretmen algı ve beklentileri

Abstract

Bu arastırmada, ilkögretim müfettislerinin denetim davranıslarına iliskin ögretmenlerin algı ve beklentileri incelenmistir. Arastırmanın örneklemini, Denizli Merkez ilkögretim okullarında görev yapan 604 ögretmen olusturmustur. Arastırmada veri toplama aracı olarak arastırmacı tarafından gelistirilen `lkögretim Müfettislerinin Denetim Davranıslarına liskin Ögretmen Algı ve Beklentileri Anketi' kullanılmıstır. Ayrıca ögretmene ait kisisel bilgiler, `Kisisel Bilgi Formu' ile toplanmıstır. Veriler `SPSS 10.0 for Windows' kullanılarak `t-test' ve `one-way ANOVA' ile analiz edilmistir. Bulgulara göre, ilkögretimde görev yapan ögretmenler ankette yer alan, müfettislerin denetim davranıslarının `ara sıra' düzeyinde gösterildigi, aynı davranıslara iliskin beklentilerin ise `her zaman' düzeyinde oldugu bulunmustur. Ögretmenlerin ilkögretim müfettislerinin denetim davranıslarına iliskin algı ve beklentileri ile cinsiyet, mesleki kıdem ve brans degiskenleri arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıstır. lkögretim müfettislerinin denetim davranıslarına iliskin ögretmenlerin algı ve beklentileri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmustur. Arastırmada elde edilen bulgular, yorumlanmıs, egitimcilere ve egitim denetimi alanında çalısma yapan arastırmacılara önerilerde bulunulmustur.

In this research, teachers? perceptions and expectations regarding supervisory behavior of elementary school supervisors have been examined. The sample of the research consists of 604 teachers working for elementary schools in Denizli. In order to collect the data, ?Teachers? Perception and Expectations Questionnaire about Supervisory Behaviors of Elementary School supervisors? was used. As for demographic information, ?Personal Information Form? was used. In order to analyze the data collected, the SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) was used. On the data, ?t-test? and ?one-way analysis of variance? techniques have been applied. According to the findings reached, teachers stated that the supervisors have ?occasionally? shown the supervisory behaviors indicated on the scale; however, teachers also stated that they have ?always? expected those supervisory behaviors from the supervisors. It has been found that teacher perception and expectation do not significantly relate to then background variables of seniority and branch. Yet, results show that, regarding supervisors? supervision behaviors, perception significantly relates to expectation. The findings obtained have been interpreted, and some solutions have been proposed for the researchers working in the field of educational supervision.
