Şiir ile hikâyenin kesiştiği ortak noktada -Tanzimat'tan Cumhuriyet'e- manzum hikâye

Abstract

Manzum hikâye, edebiyat sanatının ana dalları olan şiir ve hikâyenin bir potada eritilmesiyle oluşmuş edebî türdür. Manzum hikâyede dış yapının teşekkülünde yer alan nazım şekli, nazım birimi, ahenk unsurları, kafiye, vezin gibi unsurlar şiir; iç yapıyı meydana getiren anlatıcı, bakış açısı, olay örgüsü, kişiler, zaman ve mekân gibi unsurlar ise hikâye türüne aittir. Çoğunlukla toplumsal olmak üzere bireysel tema ve konuların da işlendiği manzum hikâyelerde dil, tabiî olarak hem şiirsel hem de anlatımsal işlevde kullanılmıştır. Türk Edebiyatı'nda destan döneminden itibaren varlığını hissettiren manzum hikâyeler, Divan Edebiyatı'nda mesnevi, Halk Edebiyatı'nda ise halk hikâyeleri adıyla varlığını sürdürmüştür. Ayrıca gazavatnâme, habnâme vb. eserlerde de manzum hikâye türüne has özellikleri görmek mümkündür. Batı Edebiyatı'yla temasın başladığı Tanzimat Edebiyatı'ndan itibaren manzum hikâyenin muhteva, yapı, dil ve üslûbunda birtakım değişiklikler ortaya çıkmıştır. Sanatkârların çöküş döneminin etkisiyle oluşan toplumsal ve bireysel problemleri ortaya çıkarma arzusu bu değişmeyi zarurî kılmıştır. Bunun yanında mesajların daha tesirli iletilebilmesi için yapılan şahsî değişikliklerin de bu eserlerin klasik formdan uzaklaşmasına sebep olduğu belirtilmelidir. Kaynağını edebiyatın en köklü iki edebî türünden alan manzum hikâye türünün 1860-1923 yıllarında pek çok sanatkârın dikkatini çektiği görülür. Değişen zevk ve duyuş tarzları sebebiyle arayışlar içerisine giren şairler, iki edebî türün sentezi olan manzum hikâyenin bir çıkış yolu olduğunu kabul etmişlerdir. Bu yüzden manzum hikâyelerde Tanzimat'tan Cumhuriyet Edebiyatı'na kadar geçen zamanda yaşanan zihniyet değişikliğini görmek mümkün olmuştur. The poetic story is a type of literature that is formed by melting poetry and story that are the main branches of literature in the same pot. In poetic story, the elements which form external structure such as shape, master unit, elements of harmony, rhyme, meter belong to poetry whereas the ones that form internal structure like narrator, point of view, plot, people, time and space belong to story type. The langue in poetic stories in which especially social themes and subjects are processed besides individual ones is naturally used both as poetic and narrative forms. The poetic stories which have felt their presence since the period of epic stories, formed as mesnevi in Divan Literature and folk tales in Folk Literature. Moreover, it is possible to see the special features of poetic story type in the works such as gazavatnâme, habnâme etc. Since Reforms Literature,the beginning of the contacts with Western literature, some changes have occured in the content,the structure,the language and the style of the poetic story.The desire to uncover the social and individual problems which were formed by the effect of the collapsing period, made this change essential. In addition to this,it should be pointed out that the personal changes that was made to transform messages more effectively have caused these works to digress from the classical form. It is seen that poetic story type which takes its source from the most radical two types of literature, drew attention of several artists in the years 1860-1923. Due to the changes in tastes and perception, styles of the poetic story, the syntheses of two types of literature, were accepted as the way out by the poets who were in quest of innovations. Therefore, it has been possible to observe the changes in mentality from Reforms to Republic Literature in poetic sories. Key Words: Poem, story, poetic story, content, structure, langue, genre.
