19. Yüzyıl Beyoğlu Çeşmeleri.

Abstract

Beyoğlu’nda artan nüfusa bağlı olarak, su mimarisinin revaçta olduğu dönemlerde, dönemin mimari ve dekoratif üslubunu yansıtan çeşmelerin yapımı artmıştır. 19. yüzyıl Beyoğlu çeşmeleri de, Osmanlı Devleti’nin tüm alanlarda yaşadığı değişimlere paralel şekilde mimaride ve süslemede bu değişimleri göstermeleri açısından Osmanlı Sanatında önemli yer tutmaktadır.Bu çalışma kapsamında Beyoğlu’nda 19. yüzyılda inşa edilen yirmi iki adet çeşme tespit edilmiştir. Bunlardan beş adedi günümüze ulamamıştır. Ayrıca daha önceki dönemlerde inşa edilip 19. yüzyılda çeşitli onarımlar geçirerek kullanımı devam eden beş adet çeşme tespit edilmiştir.Araştırma dahilindeki çeşmelerin detaylı çalışmaları daha önceden yapılmamıştır. Tespit edilen çeşmeler benzer örnekleri ile karşılaştırılarak dönemi içerisinde tipoloji oluşturulmuş, detaylı olarak incelenmiş ve Türk mimarisindeki yeri ortaya konmaya çalışılarak, dönemin birer somut örneği olan harap durumdaki çeşmelerin gelecek nesillere aktarılması amaçlanmıştır.

Based on the increasing population in Beyoglu, at period in which the aqua architecture was in great demand, the building of fountains which reflect the architectural and decorative style of the period increased. 19th century Beyoglu fountains take an importat place in Ottoman art in terms of reflecting these changes in architecture snd decoration as paralell with the changes in all parts that Ottoman lived.Within the scope of this study, twentytwo piece fountains builded in 19th century Beyoglu were identified. Five of them can not reach the present day. Except these fountains, five more fountains which were builded in previous periods and repaired in 19th century so their usage continue were identified also.Detailed study of fountains in scope of research wasn’t done before. Comparing the identified fountains with their place in Turkish architecture, it is aimed that hand these desolately fountains which are epitomise of the period down the next generations.
