Abstract: Aim Ambustion is one of the most traumatic things that could happen to a person. Jackson defined burns in three zones histologically. Central coagulations' zone, that coagulation necrosis field. Stasis zone, surrounding the central zone, decreased tissue nutrition, the extricably zone. The hyperemia zone, which is seen to increase blood flow due to inflammation in the outermost region. Reduction of morbidity and mortality can be achieved by saving the stasis zone. The research on this subject has shown that; showed the tissue necrosis that occurs is caused by progressive hypoxia and perfusion scarcity within the first 48 hours after ambustion. This area is likely to be rescued with the management of parameters such as increasing the tolerance of tissue to ischemia, increasing perfusion, and reducing inflammation. The aim of this experimental work is to research the effects of resveratrol on stasis zone. Method In the study had been used 20 Sprague-Dawly type rats in total. Rats had divided into two groups. Under anesthesia rats get experimental burn model identified by Regas and Ehrlich. No additional intervention was done to the first group. To the second group 1ml 10mg/kg resverafrol was administered daily in the form of intraperitoneal injection. Punch biopsies were taken from the stasis zones in following third, seventh and tenth days. The aliquots were evaluated histopathologically. Findings According to the control group, found out a significant increase in the amount of collagen in the resveratrol group and a significant decrease in the value of bleeding caused by increased inflammation. In resveratrol group compared to the control group, showed a significant decrease in bleeding assessment only in 3-10 day. Even though a significant difference was found in the collagen evaluation on only the third day, it was not determined that they had significant supremacy over each other on the seventh and tenth days. Conclusion The result of our work supports that resveratrol in the stasis zone in rats supports wound healing at the cellular level and reduces bleeding. Through the followed days, it showed that it supports collagen growth in a progressive way but its mitigating effect on bleeding in the early days.
