Eski Türkçe metinlerde sıfatların eşdizimliliği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, kuramsal yaklaşımla Eski Türkçe metinlerde sıfatların eşdizimliliği çerçevesinde Eski Türkçede eşdizimlilik kategorisinin tipolojik sınırları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada, eşdizimliliğin belirlenmesinde ve diğer sözcük birlikteliklerinden ayırt edilmesinde tek başına kullanışlı ve güvenilir olduğu düşünülen anlambilimsel bakış açısı benimsenmiştir. Önceki deyimbilimi ve eşdizimlilik çalışmaları eleştirel bir yaklaşımla incelenmiş, elde edilen sonuçlar ve yeni görüşlerle deyimsel sözcük birlikteliklerinin anlamsal bir sınıflandırma denemesi yapılmıştır.Eşdizimliliğin de dâhil olduğu deyimsel birlikteliklerin anlam bakımından sınıflandırılmasında, daha önce yapılan anlambilimsel sınıflandırmalardan farklı olarak deyim ve sınırlı eşdizimlilik arasında deyimsel eşdizimlilik olarak adlandırılan bir geçiş kategorisi tasarlanmıştır. Dolayısıyla deyimle sınırlı eşdizimlilik arasındaki anlamsal olarak bulanık bölgeye deyimbilimi alanında kuramsal bir zemin oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada anlamsal şeffaflık, anlam özelleşmesi ve genelleşme / kalıplaşma ölçütleri kullanılarak belirlenen, deyim ve serbest sözcük birlikteliği arasında bulunan anlam kategorileri şöyledir: deyimsel eşdizimlilik, sınırlı eşdizimlilik, açık eşdizimlilik.Ayrıca, Eski Türkçede geniş bir kullanımı bulunan sıfatların ad ve zarf türü sözcüklerle ve edatlar, durum ekleri gibi dilbilgisi ögeleriyle kurduğu anlambilimsel, dizimsel ve biçimsözdizimsel eşdizimlilik ilişkileri ile bu eşdizimliliklerin kullanım özellikleri, bağlamsal anlamları ve kavram alanları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Böylece Türkçenin yapısı ve anlambilimsel eğilimleri göz önünde bulundurularak Eski Türkçe metinlerde sıfatların eşdizimliliği çerçevesinde Eski Türkçede eşdizimlilik ve diğer deyimsel birliktelikler tipolojik olarak kuramsal bir çerçeveye oturtulmaya çalışılmıştır. Aynı zamanda Eski Türkçe metinlerin önemli bir bölümü taranarak Eski Türkçede sıfatların eşdizimliliği temelinde bir veritabanı oluşturulmuştur. Bu yönleriyle çalışmanın, dil öğrenimi / öğretimi, sözlükbilimi, derlemdilbilimi, çeviribilim çalışmaları ve tarihî metin incelemeleri gibi çalışma alanlarına kuramsal ve uygulamalı açıdan katkı sağlayacağı öngörülmektedir.

In this study, the typological boundaries of the collocation category in Old Turkish within the framework of adjectives’ collocation in Old Turkish texts have been attempted to be determined with a theoretical approach. In the study, a semantic perspective, which is considered to be useful and reliable on its own in determining collocation and distinguishing it from other word cooccurrences has been adopted. Previous phraseology and collocation studies have been analyzed with a critical point of view, and a semantic classification trial of idiomatic word cooccurrences has been made with the obtained results and new approaches.In the semantic classification of idiomatic cooccurrences including collocations, a transition category called idiomatic collocation between idiom and restricted collocations was designed, unlike the semantic classifications previously made. Therefore, it has been attempted to form a theoretical background in the field of phraseology, for the semantically vague area between the idiom and restricted collocations, which is the most problematic point in the classification of idiomatic cooccurrences. In this study, the meaning categories determined using semantic transparency, meaning specialization and generalization / formulaicity criteria; and situated between idiom and free word combination are as follows: idiomatic collocations, restricted collocations, open collocations.In addition, it is attempted to determine the contextual meanings and conceptual fields of collocations shaped through adjective + noun, noun+ adjective, adverb + adjective relationship in Old Turkish; and semantic, syntactic and morpho-syntactic collocation relationships and usage characteristics of adjectives with a wide usage in Old Turkish with noun and adverbial words and grammatical elements such as prepositions and case suffixes. Thus, within the framework of adjectives’ collocation in Old Turkish texts, collocations and other idiomatic cooccurrences in Old Turkish have been attempted to be placed in a theoretical framework typologically considering the structure and semantic tendencies of Turkish. At the same time, a database has been formed on the basis of adjectives’ collocations in Old Turkish by analyzing a significant part of Old Turkish texts. With these aspects, it is foreseen that the study will contribute theoretically and practically to the disciplines such as language learning / teaching , lexicography, corpus linguistics, translation studies and historical text studies.
