Öğretmenlerin mesleki profesyonellikleri ile örgütsel mutlulukları arasındaki ilişki

Abstract

Bu araştırmada; öğretmen görüşlerine göre, mesleki profesyonellik algıları ile örgütsel mutluluk düzeylerini saptamak; öğretmenlerin mesleki profesyonellikleri ile örgütsel mutlulukları arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırma Denizli ili Çameli, Acıpayam ve Tavas ilçelerine bağlı ilkokul, ortaokul ve liselerde görev yapmakta olan öğretmenleri kapsamaktadır. Araştırmada, kolay ulaşılabilir örneklem yoluyla 310 öğretmenden veri toplanmıştır. Araştırmada yer alan veriler Kişisel Bilgiler Formu, Mesleki Profesyonellik Ölçeği ve Örgütsel Mutluluk Ölçeği olmak üzere üç bölümden oluşan ölçek ile elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde verilerin normal dağılmasına bağlı olarak betimsel istatistikler, bağımsız örneklem t-testi, tek yönlü varyans (ANOVA) analizi, Pearson korelâsyon testi ve basit doğrusal regresyon testleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre öğretmenler mesleki profesyonelliklerini yüksek olarak algılamaktadırlar. Mesleki gelişim bakımından bekâr öğretmenlerin evli öğretmenlere göre kendilerini daha profesyonel olarak gördükleri belirlenmiştir. Mesleki disiplin açısından ise sınıf öğretmenlerinin branş öğretmenlerine göre daha profesyonel olduklarını düşündükleri belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenler olumlu duygular boyutunda algılarını orta, olumsuz duygular ve potansiyelini gerçekleştirme boyutlarında ise yüksek olarak belirtmişlerdir. 1-5 yıl kıdeme sahip olan öğretmenlerin, 16-20 yıl kıdeme sahip olan öğretmenlere göre, olumlu duygular alt boyutunda daha yüksek duyguya sahip oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin örgütlerinde mutluluğun sağlanması ve arttırılmasında öğretmenlik mesleğinin profesyonelliği etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Mesleki profesyonellik ile olumlu duygular ve potansiyeli gerçekleştirme boyutları arasında orta ve pozitif yönlü, olumsuz duygular boyutu ile orta ve negatif yönlü bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğretmenlerin olumlu duygular boyutundaki algı düzeylerinin %23’ü, olumsuz duygular boyutundaki algı düzeylerinin %11’i ve potansiyeli gerçekleştirme boyutundaki algı düzeylerinin %36’sı mesleki profesyonellik ile açıklanabileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

In this study; to determine professional professionalism perceptions and organizational happiness levels according to teachers' views; It was aimed to determine the relationship between teachers' professional professionalism and organizational happiness. In the research, relational scanning model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used. This research covers the teachers working in primary, secondary and high schools in Çameli, Acıpayam and Tavas districts of Denizli. In the study, data were collected from 310 teachers through an easily accessible sample. The data included in the study were obtained with a scale consisting of three parts: Personal Information Form, Professional Professionalism Scale and Organizational Happiness Scale. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way variance (ANOVA) analysis, Pearson correlation test and simple linear regression tests were used depending on the normal distribution of the data. According to the results of the research, teachers perceive their professional professionalism as high. In terms of professional development, it has been determined that single teachers see themselves as more professional than married teachers. In terms of professional discipline, it was determined that classroom teachers thought they were more professional than branch teachers. Teachers stated that their perceptions were medium in the positive emotions dimension and high in the negative emotions and potential realization dimensions. It was concluded that teachers with a seniority of 1-5 years had higher emotions in the positive emotions sub-dimension than teachers with a seniority of 16-20 years. It has been concluded that the professionalism of the teaching profession is effective in ensuring and increasing happiness in teachers' organizations. It was determined that there is a medium and positive relationship between professional professionalism and positive emotions and potential realization dimensions, and a medium and negative relationship with negative emotions. It was concluded that 23% of the perception levels of teachers in the dimension of positive emotions, 11% of their perception level in the dimension of negative emotions, and 36% of their perception level in the dimension of realizing the potential can be explained by professional professionalism.
