Doğan Arslan Mescidi duvar yüzeylerindeki tasvirler

Abstract

Eskişehir’in Sivrihisar ilçesine bağlı Mülk köyünde bulunan Doğan Arslan Mescidi kitabesindeki tarihe göre 1247 yılında inşa edilmiştir. Yapının işlevi hakkında kitabede mescid tanımı geçmesine rağmen bazı soru işaretleri bulunmaktadır. Mülk köyü mezarlığında höyük olduğu düşünülen bir tepe üzerinde bulunması, içerisinde yakın döneme kadar sandukanın olması ve kitabenin yapıya ait olmadığı yönünde görüşler de yapının işlevi hakkındaki tartışmalara konu olmaktadır. Genel olarak dikdörtgen planlı yapı iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Tezimizin konusu gereği mimari detaylar kısaca açıklanmış, asıl konumuz olan tasvirler ayrı başlık altında incelenmiştir. Yapının dış cephesinde taş blokların yüzeyinde ve iç cephenin duvar yüzeylerinde kazıma tekniğinde yapılmış, sanatsal ve ikonografik değere sahip olan geçmiş dönemlerdeki geleneği bize yansıtan figürler irdelenmiştir. Dış ve iç cephe yüzeyinde toplam 206 tasvir bu kritere göre belirlenmiştir.Belirlenen bu tasvirler arazide tek tek fotoğraflanıp ölçüleri alınarak envanterlenmiştir. Daha sonra bu tasvirler AutoCAD 2019 programında çizilerek çeşitli başlıklar altında sınıflandırılmıştır. İnsan, el, hayvan, bitki, geometrik şekiller ve damgalar şeklinde ayrılan tasvirler tekrar belirli başlıklar halinde Anadolu’da ve Orta Asya’da benzer yapım tekniğinde ve benzer tasvirlerin görüldüğü yapılarla ve kaya resim alanlarıyla karşılaştırılmıştır. Ayrıca İslamiyet öncesi ve İslamiyet sonrası dönemlerde Türklerin kültürlerinde barındırdığı ikonografik anlamlarıyla değerlendirilmiştir.

Based on the date of its epigraph, the Doğan Arslan Mescid which is located in the village of Mülk of Sivrihisar district of Eskişehir was built in 1247. Even though the description about the function of the structure is mentioned in the epigraph, it also includes question marks. The cemetery of Mülk village being situated on a hill which is thought to be a tumulus, in which the existence of a cist until a short time ago and the opinions that the epigraph not belonging to the building, have all contributed to the discussions about the purpose of the building. The rectangle designed structure basically consists of two sections. The architectural details are briefly stated in accordance with the context of the thesis and the images, which are the main focal point, are examined under a separate heading.The carving technique was used on the surface of the stone blocks on the exterior and on the interior wall surfaces of the structure and figures of artistic and iconographic value which reflected the traditions of past times were rendered the main focus. A total of 206 images on the exterior and interior surfaces were determined according to this criterion. Each identified image was photographed and measured individually out in the field and inventoried accordingly. Later these images were drawn in AutoCAD 2019 and classified under various headings. The images that is grouped as human, hand, animal, plant, geometric shapes and seals have been compared yet again under specific headings with structures observed with the construction techniques seen in Anatolia and Central Asia as well as with similar depictions and with the fields of cave paintings. Furthermore, they also have been evaluated within the iconographic meanings observed within the cultures of Turks during pre- and post-Islamic periods.
