Kurumsal kaynak planlaması (ERP) ve Bulut ERP

Abstract

Teknolojinin her geçen gün gelişmesi ile birlikte iş dünyasındaki bilgi teknolojilerinin kullanımı tüm firmalar için zorunlu hale gelmiştir. Bilgisayarlar ve bilgisayarlı sistemlerin ilk kullanımından bu güne bilgi teknolojilerinin firmaların çeşitli özelliklerinde kullanımı da hızlı bir şekilde devam etmektedir. Sürekli gelişen ve değişime mecbur bırakan rekabet koşulları, işletmelerdeki bilgi teknolojileri gereksinimlerini güncellemelerine sebep olmuştur. Sürekli olan gelişim ve değişmeler, firmaların farklı işlevlerinin bütünleşik ve birbiri ile uyumluluk halinde yürütülmesi gereksiniminin de bir ihtiyaç olduğu gerçeğini desteklemektedir. Artan rekabet ortamında işlevselliğini yitirmemek adına işletmeler daha fazla bilgiye, teknolojik gelişmelere ayak uydurmaya ve sağlıklı iletişime ihtiyaç duymaktadırlar. Bu da işletmelerdeki yazılım sistemlerinin kullanımını günden güne yaygınlaştırmaktadır. Sürekli gelişen bilgi teknolojilerinden olan Kurumsal Kaynak Planlama (ERP) yazılımları; maliyetleri düşürmek, arzu edilen veriye anında ve her yerde ulaşabilmek, kârlılığı artırmak vb. firma menfaatine olan birçok hedefe ulaşabilmesini sağlamaktadır. Firmaya göre fonksiyonel olabilen bu sistemler sayesinde işletmeler kendileri ile ilgili süreçleri ki örneğin; satın alma yönetimi, satış yönetimi, finans/muhasebe yönetimi, depo yönetimi, insan kaynakları yönetimi, üretim planlama yönetimi vb. birçok faktörü tek çatı altında toplayarak bir kere girilen veriye tüm birimlerin ulaşabilmesini sağlamış olurlar. Bu sayede işletmelerde karşılaşılan problemlerin çözümü kolaylaşmış ve rekabet edebilirliği artmış olur. Bu çalışmada, Denizli ilinde faaliyet gösteren ve Geleneksel ERP’den Bulut ERP’ye geçiş yaptığı tespit edilen bir firmada; geçişin sağlanmasına katkıda bulunan faktörler araştırılmıştır. Firmanın bilgi işlem birimindeki kişiler ile yapılan derinlemesine mülakatlar analiz edilmiş ve iç ve dış faktörlerin etkisi açıklanmıştır. Bu çalışma neticesinde elde edilen bulgular vasıtası ile Geleneksel ERP’den Bulut ERP’ye geçiş düşüncesinde olan firmalara rehberlik etmesi hedeflenmektedir.

With the development of technology day by day, the use of information technologies in the business world has become mandatory for all companies. Since the first use of computers and computerized systems, the use of information technologies in various features of companies continues rapidly. Constantly developing and compelling competition conditions have caused businesses to update their information technology requirements. Continuous development and changes support the fact that there is a need for companies to carry out their different functions in an integrated and compatible manner. In order not to lose their functionality in an increasingly competitive environment, businesses need more information, keeping up with technological developments and healthy communication. This makes the use of software systems in businesses widespread day by day. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which is one of the constantly developing information technology that helps; reducing costs, accessing the desired data instantly and everywhere, increasing profitability, etc. It enables the company to achieve many goals that are in the interest of the company. Thanks to these systems, which can be functional according to the company, businesses can process their own processes, for example; purchasing management, sales management, finance/accounting management, warehouse management, human resources management, production planning management etc. By gathering many factors under one roof, they ensure that all units can access the data entered once. In this way, the solution of the problems encountered in the enterprises is facilitated and their competitiveness is increased. In this study, in a company operating in Denizli and found to have switched from Traditional ERP to Cloud ERP; factors contributing to the transition were investigated. In-depth interviews with the people in the IT department of the company were analyzed and the effect of internal and external factors was explained. Through the findings obtained as a result of this study, it is aimed to guide companies that are considering the transition from Traditional ERP to Cloud ERP.
