Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate primary school students' attitudes toward plants. "Plan Attitude Questionnaire" which was adapted by researchers into Turkish was utilized to collect data. The questionnaire was administered to a group of 777 primary sixth, seventh, and eighth students. Results obtained from the study revealed that students had higher attitudes for importance and interest dimensions of the questionnaire, while they had lower attitudes for urban trees dimension. It was found that, between gender and attitudes, while there was a significant difference for importance and interest dimensions, there was no any significant difference for urban trees and utilization dimensions. It was also found that girls' attitude scores were higher than those of boys. Results also revealed that seventh grade students had higher attitude scores than sixth and eighth grade.
