Publisher: | PAMUKKALE UNIV | Abstract: | In this study, the relationship between Intellectual Achievement Responsibility and Achievement Anxiety in relation to psychological symptoms has been analyzed by using a survey method. The sample population consisted of 594 (302 female and 286 male) high school students (1-2-3. Grades). To measure the Locus of Control in Academic Situations, Intellectual Achievement Responsibility Questionnaire (IAR), to determine the Anxiety in Academic Situations, Achievement Anxiety Testing (AAT) and to measure Psychopathology, Symptom Check List (SCL-90-R) has been used. The results suggest that the stepwise regression analyses predicted significant relationship between General Symptom Index and Intellectual Achievement Responsibility, Achievement Anxiety Testing and gender. The analyses of variance results put forth the groups of General Symptom Index have significantly caused the difference in both IARt and AAT. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/11499/39494 | ISSN: | 1301-0085 |
