Abstract: Teaching Practice is one of the most crucial experiences for student teachers in the process of becoming a teacher. Although there are some arrangements for the application of this process, there are some problems especially in providing sufficient feedback by mentors and university supervisors to student teachers as a result of their presentation in various classes. For this reason, this study aims at finding out as to whether student teachers are given feedback, and if so, to what extent the feedback is provided and how it is carried out. Keeping this purpose in mind, a questionnaire has been developed and given to 80 student teachers to collect data. Moreover, randomly selected 25 student teachers out of 80 have been interviewed to collect more detailed data for the purpose of triangulation. The results show that student teachers complain most about insufficient feedback concerning their planning a lesson and presenting it in the classroom. Finally, some techniques and strategies have been suggested regarding feedback process in teaching practicum.
