Abstract: This study reported the reliability and validity studies of the Achievement Anxiety Testing (AAT) developed by Albert and Haber (1960), to measure the anxiety in academic situations. The sample consisted of 157 high school students. The results showed that item-total correlations had changed between .25 and .50 ranges and principal components analysis explanied two factors for the scale. The analysis also pointed out .54 correlation was found with Spielberger (Oner, 1990) Test Anxiety Inventory for concurrent validity. and .76 test-retest reliabilityy correlation.
