Konya Bölge Yazma Eserler Kütüphanesi örneği üzerinden yazma eserlerde koruma uygulamaları

Abstract

Yazma eserler, yazıldıkları dönemin sanatsal özelliklerini günümüze taşıyan, zengin içeriği ile toplumların gelişimine katkıda bulunan değerli eserlerdir. Büyük bir çoğunluğu kütüphanelerde muhafaza edilen yazma eserler; yangın, deprem, su baskını, hırsızlık ve vandalizm, hava kirliliği, uygun olmayan ışık, sıcaklık ve bağıl nem gibi zarar verici etkenlere maruz kalabilmektedir. Yazma eserlerde koruma uygulamalarına ilişkin literatüre baktığımızda, bu konuda yeterli sayıda çalışmanın olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu nedenle, tez çalışmasında Konya Bölge Yazma Eserler Kütüphanesi örneği üzerinden yazma eserlerde koruma uygulamaları detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda, kütüphanenin bölümleri ve faaliyetleri, depolama, ısı, nem ve ışık koşulları, periyodik bakım, afet ve güvenlik gibi konularda mevcut durum irdelendikten sonra elde edilen veriler literatür bilgileri ışığında değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda, tespit edilen eksikliklere yönelik koruma önerileri sunulmuştur.

Manuscripts are precious works, which bring the artistic features of the time when they were written to the present day and contribute to the development of societies with their rich content. Manuscripts, the vast majority of which are preserved in the libraries, can be exposed to some damaging factors such as fire, earthquake, flood, theft and vandalism, air pollution, inappropriate light, heat, and relative humidity. When we look at the literature on preservation practices of manuscripts, it can be determined that there are not enough studies on this subject. Therefore, in the thesis study, conservation practices of manuscripts were examined in detail through the example of Konya Regional Manuscript Library. In this context, after examining the current situation in the sections and activities of the library about issues such as storage, heat, humidity and light conditions, periodic maintenance, disaster, and security, the data obtained were evaluated considering literature information. As a result of the study, protection suggestions were presented for the specified deficiencies.
