Title: | Existence of positive solutions for nonlinear three-point problems on time scales | Authors: | Yaslan, İsmail | Keywords: | Boundary value problems Cone Fixed point theorems Positive solutions Time scales Computational methods Problem solving Theorem proving Dynamic equations Fixed point theorem Positive solution Time scale Nonlinear analysis |
Abstract: | In this paper, by using fixed point theorems in cones, we study the existence of at least one, two and three positive solutions of a nonlinear second-order three-point boundary value problem for dynamic equations on time scales. As an application, we also give some examples to demonstrate our results. © 2006 Elsevier B.V.
