Çocuk ve siyaset: sosyal bilgiler dersinde (okullarda) siyaset eğitimi -bir teorik çerçeve denemesi-

Abstract

“Siyaset, fizikten zordur” demiştir ünlü fizikçi Einstein. Bu sözle siyasetin hem bir bilim olarak zorluğuna işaret etmiş hem de toplum için vazgeçilmez gerekliliğine zımnen vurgu yapmıştır. Herhangi bir bilimin yapılabilirliği, yönetilebilir bir ortamla (ülke-dünya) doğrudan ilişkilidir. Ayrıca bilim insanının “ölçüsüz” hırsı, içinde yaşattığı iktidar (başkasını hükmetme) ihtirasıyla birlikte gittiğinde, insanlık ve tabiat için feci sonuçlar doğurabilir. Dolayısıyla siyasetin (siyaset biliminin) daha çocukken verilecek bir eğitimle/farkındalıkla “doğru” anlaşılması sağlanabilir. Bu çalışma ile siyasetin insanların “mutluluğunu” sağlamanın gerekli bir aracı olduğu gösterilmeye çalışılacaktır. Ayrıca, siyaset bilim konularının sosyal bilgiler dersinin içeriği ilgili bağlantılarına değinilecektir. Nihayet literatürde henüz karşılık bulmayan bu konuyla ilgili teorik bir çerçeve oluşturulmaya denenecektir.

"Politics is harder than physics," said the famous physicist Einstein. With this he has both pointed out the difficult aspects of politics as a science and has also implicitly emphasized on the indispensable necessity of it for society. Feasibility of any science is directly related to a manageable medium (country-world). In addition, when "disproportionate" ambition of scientist goes hand in hand with his ambition of governing others this could have disastrous consequences for humans and nature. Therefore, the awareness of "correct" understanding of politics can be achieved during childhood by education. This study tries to demonstrate that politics is a necessary tool to provide people with "happiness". Furthermore, the relevant links between political science topics and the content of social studies will be discussed. Finally, we will try to create a theoretical framework on this issue that has not yet found a solid ground in literature.
