dc.description.abstract | New zinc(II) phthalocyanines (p-ZnPc and np-ZnPc) containing peripheral and non-peripheral positioned four anthraquinone moieties were synthesized by cyclotetramerization of 4-((2-(2-((8-Chloro-9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydroanthracen-1-yl) amino) ethoxy) ethyl) thio) phthalonitrile and 3-((2-(2-((8-Chloro-9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydroanthracen-1-yl) amino) ethoxy) ethyl) thio) phthalonitrile. All compounds were characterized by using a combination of analytical and spectroscopic techniques such as H-1, C-13 NMR, FT-IR, UV-vis and MS spectral data. Also, molecular docking studies were performed using different G-quadruplex and double stranded nucleic acid fragments as possible interaction sites to predict the binding ability of the newly synthesized compounds. | en_US |
