Sosyal Silgiler eğitiminde hoşgörü ( Eskişehir Odunpazarı ilçesi sosyal Silgiler öğretmenlerinin görüşleri)

Abstract

Eğitim sürecinin bir aşaması olan ilköğretimde çocuğun hoşgörü kazanmasına katkıda bulunan derslerin başında Sosyal Bilgiler dersi gelmektedir. Sosyal Bilgiler dersi; öğrencilerin insan ilişkilerini anlamaları, hoşgörülü olmaları, bir fert olarak sorumluluklarını öğrenmeleri, ulusal niteliklerin bilincinde olmalarını sağlamaktadır. Ayrıca; öğrencilere yaşadıkları çevre, geçmiş ve gelecek hakkında bakış açısı kazandırmaya çalışmaktadır. Hoşgörülü, toplumsal sorunlara duyarlı, dostluğa önem veren, uzlaşmacı nesiller yetiştirmede sosyal bilgiler eğitiminin büyük önemi bulunmaktadır. Bu sebeple, önemli bir yere sahip olan Sosyal Bilgiler dersinin ülkenin gereksinimleri de dikkate alınarak bilimsel bir yaklaşımla sıklıkla güncellenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı; sosyal bilgiler eğitiminde hoşgörüyü öğretmenlerin algılarına göre araştırmaktır. Bu amaçla, evrenini Eskişehir ili devlet okullarında eğitim vermekte olan öğretmenler arasından kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 103 öğretmene anket uygulanmıştır. Anket sonuçları SPSS 18.0 programına girilerek değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, yaş, yöneticilik yapma durumları ve meslekteki hizmet sürelerine göre hoşgörü algısı tutum ölçeğine katılma dereceleri arasında farklılık bulunmaktadır. Social Studies lesson leads the lessons which contribute to the process of gaining latitude of the child in primary education which is the first phase of education period. Social Studies Lesson provides students in understanding human relationships, being latitude, learning their responsibilities as an individual and being aware of their national qualifications. In addition; it is trying to gain a perspective to the students about their environment, past and the future. Social studies education has a great importance in raising generations which are latitude, sensitive to social problems, emphasis on friendship and agreeable. For this reason, Social Studies lesson which has an important place in curriculum needs to be updated frequently with a scientific approach by taking the requirements of country into account. The purpose of this study is searching the latitude in social studies education according to the perceptions of teachers. For this purpose, a questionnaire which selects its universe among the teachers who are giving education in State Schools of the province of Eskisehir selected with convenience sampling method and 103 teachers are conducted to this questionnaire. The results of this questionnaire were evaluated by entering data to the SPSS 18 software. According to the results of this questionnaire, there are differences between sexuality, age, condition of being or have been in management of teachers and participation rate to latitude perception attitude scale according to their period of service in the profession of them.
