Proto-elam kültürü ve elam-mezopotamya siyasi ilişkileri

Abstract

Halen çözülmeyi veya keşfedilmeyi bekleyen merak uyandırıcı yönleriyle öne çıkan Elam hakkındaki çalışmalar; arkeolojik kazılar, çivi yazılı tabletler, antik kaynaklar ve kutsal kitaplar yardımıyla başlamış olup, son yıllarda ilerleme kaydetmiştir. Elam çalışmalarında önemli bir yeri olan Proto-Elam Dönemi’ne ismini veren Proto-Elam Kültürü, İran’ın büyük bir kısmını içine alan geniş bir coğrafyada ortaya çıkmış olup, İran’da medeniyetin gelişmesinde önemli rol oynamış, zengin bir kültürdür. Çeşitli yerleşmelerde tespit edilen bu kültür; mimari kalıntılar, seramik kaplar, heykeller ve mühürler gibi arkeolojik buluntularla temsil edilmekle birlikte Proto-Elam yazılı tabletler bu kültürün dünya çapında tanınmasında en büyük pay sahibidir. Henüz tümüyle çözülmemiş olan Proto-Elam yazısını barındıran bu tabletler, dönemin sosyal ve ekonomik yaşamına ışık tutan tek yazılı kaynaklardır. Proto-Elam Dönemi’nin ardından Güneybatı İran’da ortaya çıkan Elam Krallığı ise İran’da kurulan ilk devlet olması sebebiyle İran’da devlet ve toplum temelinde ilk teşkilatlı yapıyı meydana getirmiştir. Uzun bir geçmişe sahip Elam Krallığı’nın siyasi tarihinde Sumer, Akad, Babil ve Asur gibi Mezopotamya krallıkları önemli yer tutmuştur. Söz konusu krallıklar ile kurulan siyasi temaslar genellikle köklü bir düşmanlığa dayanan askeri mücadeleler ile bir arada devam etmiştir.

Studies on Elamite, which stands out with its intriguing aspects still waiting to be solved or discovered, have started with the help of archaeological excavations, cuneiform tablets, ancient sources and holy books and have progressed in recent years. The Proto-Elamite Culture, which gives its name to the Proto-Elamite Period, which has an important place in Elamite studies, emerged in a wide geography covering a large part of Iran and is a rich culture that had an important role in the development of civilisation in Iran. Although this culture is represented by archaeological finds such as architectural remains, ceramic vessels, sculptures and seals, Proto-Elamite written tablets have the biggest share in the worldwide recognition of this culture. These tablets, which contain Proto-Elamite writing that have not yet been completely deciphered, are the only written sources that enlighten the social and economic life of the period. The Kingdom of Elamite, which emerged in Southwestern Iran after the Proto-Elamite Period, was the first state founded in Iran and formed the first organised structure on the basis of state and society in Iran. In the political history of the Kingdom of Elamite, which has a long history, Mesopotamian kingdoms such as Sumer, Akkad, Babylon and Assyria had an important place. The political contacts established with these kingdoms generally continued together with military struggles based on a deep-rooted antagonism.
