Gençlik dizilerindeki rol modellerinin sosyolojik değerlendirmesi

Abstract

Bu tezin amacı gençlik dizilerindeki rol modellerin söylemlerinin gençlerin kimlik oluşumuna etkisini incelemektir. Bu çalışma televizyonun fonksiyonunu, gençler üzerine olan etkisini gençlik dizilerindeki karakterleri ve onların söylemlerini analiz etmektedir. Dizilerdeki söylemlerin gençler üzerindeki etkisini değerlendirmek için bu tezde Türkiye’de yayınlanan beş popüler gençlik dizisi ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada öncelikle kavramsal çerçeve ortaya koyulmuştur. Daha sonra, televizyonun fonksiyonu, kültürü nasıl sunduğu, gençlerin tavır, davranış ve ruhsal hayatları üzerine olan etkisi irdelenmiştir. Sonrasında ise beş popüler gençlik dizisi söylem analizi tekniği kullanılarak analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır.

The purpose of this thesis is to explore the effect of the discourses of role models in youth TV series on the identity formation of youths. This study analyze the function of television, its influence on youths, characters on youth TV series,and their discourses. To evaluate the effect of the discourses on the identity formation of youths, this thesis analysis five popular youth TV series broadcast in Turkey. At first, this study focuses on the conceptual framework. Secondly, it explores function of television, how it represents the culture, and its effects on youth's behaviors, actions, and mental attitudes. Thirdly, five popular youth TV series are analyzed through using sociological discourse analysis technical.
