Publisher: | Springer | Abstract: | A new aza-thia macrocycle compound was obtained with high dilution reaction. A new zinc(II) phthalocyanine containing four 17-membered macrocycle moieties with nitrogen-sulfur donor atoms was synthesized in a multi-step reaction sequence. Zn(II) phthalocyanine (S4N-ZnPc) and all of the new compounds were characterized by elemental analysis and different spectroscopic methods such as 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR, UV-vis and mass. Obtained macrocyclic compounds 6 and S4N-ZnPc were used in solvent extraction of metals such as Ag+, Hg2+, Cd2+, Zn2+, Cu2+, Ni2+, Pb2+ and Cr3+ from aqueous phase to the organic phase. The results of two-phase extraction studies on new macrocyclic compounds showed very high selectivity for silver ions compared to other metal cations. | URI: | https://doi.org/10.1007/s11243-024-00577-8 https://hdl.handle.net/11499/57003 |
