Manevi danışmanlık ve rehberliğin tarihçesi

Abstract

Yaşadığımız modern dönemde, insanların yaşam koşullarının giderek griftleşmesi, gerek yaşadığımız coğrafya da gerekse diğer coğrafyalar da toplumsal ve bireysel krizlerin artmasına yol açmıştır. Bu ve benzeri olaylarla yüzleşen insanoğlu, problemlerini adlandırmada ve yaşadığı acılar ile başa çıkmada, dinlerin ve manevi geleneklerin önemli bir role sahip olduğu görülmektedir. Manevi geleneklerden hareketle, psikoloji ve din üzerinden yürütülen tartışmalar sonucun da manevi danışmanlık alanı ortaya çıkmıştır. Manevi danışmanlığın çıkış noktasının Batı Hıristiyanlığı olduğu, buradan hareketle dünyanın farklı noktalarında kendine uygulama alanı bulduğu bilinmektedir. Özellikle modern hayat ve modern üretim biçimlerinin yabancılaştırdığı insanlar için, manevi danışmanlık büyük bir ihtiyaç olarak görülmektedir. Türkiye’de manevi danışmanlık çalışmalarının 20. yüzyılın sonlarına doğru etkin olduğu, ancak yeterli literatür halen sağlanamamıştır. Araştırmamız için önem arz eden bu arka plana ek olarak manevi danışmanlığın tarihsel sürecinin çok fazla araştırma konusu olmadığı görülmüştür. Çalışmamız, manevi danışmanlığın tarihsel sürecini, kavramsal çerçevesi ile Batı’da ve Türkiye’de uygulanma durumunu içermektedir. Araştırmamız, giriş, sonuç-öneriler olmak üzere beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında araştırmanın konu, amaç ve önemine, literatürdeki yerine yer verilmiştir. Araştırmanın teorik çerçevesini oluşturan ikinci bölümde konuya ilişkin kavramsal bir çerçeve çizilmeye çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, manevi danışmanlık ve rehberlik alanı detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde, Batı’da ve Türkiye’de manevi danışmanlık ve rehberlik süreci ile uygulama alanlarına dair açıklama ve yorumlara yer verilmiştir. Sonuç ve öneriler bölümünde ise araştırmanın sonucunda ulaşılan bulguların nihai çıktıları özetlenmiştir.

Page In the modern period we live in, the gradual grifting of people's living conditions has led to an increase in social and individual crises both in the geography we live in and in other geographies. Faced with these and similar events, it is seen that religions and spiritual traditions have an important role in naming their problems and coping with their suffering. Based on spiritual traditions, Spiritual Counseling has emerged as a result of discussions on Psychology and Religion. It is known that the starting point of Spiritual Counseling is Western Christianity, and from this point of view, it has found its application in different parts of the world. Especially for people who are alienated by modern life and modern forms of production, Spiritual Counseling is seen as a great need. Spiritual counseling studies in Turkey were active towards the end of the 20th century, but sufficient literature was still not provided. In addition to this background, which is important for our research, it has been observed that the historical process of spiritual counseling is not the subject of much research. This study includes the historical process of spiritual counseling, its conceptual framework and its application in the West and Turkey. Our research consists of five parts: introduction, conclusion and recommendations. In the introduction, the subject, purpose and importance of the research and its place in the literature are included. In the second part, which constitutes the theoretical framework of the research, a conceptual framework on the subject was tried to be drawn. In the third part, the field of spiritual counseling and guidance is examined in detail. In the fourth chapter, explanations and comments on the spiritual counseling and guidance process and application areas in the West and Turkey are included. In the conclusion and recommendations section, the final outputs of the findings reached as a result of the research are summarized.
