dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to propose a method to simulate the yarn loop formation for terry woven towels taking into account the movements in the weaving process. In accordance with this purpose, the structural properties of 27 type systematically produced terry woven fabrics, which had three different pile warp count, three different weft setting and three different pile ratio, were analyzed before and after pile formation. The changing of pile form was observed on the jaw moving platform, and pile formation steps in the terry weaving process were simulated. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.en_US
