Abstract: In this work, effect of substrate temperature on the conduction mechanisms of thermally evaporated polycrystalline thin films that were grown from sintered CdIn2Te4 compound were investigated. Temperature dependent conductivity measurements were carried out in the temperature range of 80-400 K to determine dominant current transport mechanisms of the films that were grown at 293 K, 473 K and 573 K substrate temperatures. It was shown that the variation of deposition temperature has considerably altered resistivity and transport properties of the films. © 2017, Virtual Institute of Physics of the Foundation Horia Hulubei.
