Güzel Sanatlar Liseleri Müzik Bölümü öğrencilerinin piyano dersi akademik başarısını etkileyen etmenlere ilişkin öğretmen görüşleri (Ege Bölgesi örneği)

Abstract

Bu araştırma, Ege Bölgesi Güzel Sanatlar Liseleri Müzik Bölümlerinde uygulanmakta olan piyano derslerinde öğrenci akademik başarısını etkileyen etmenleri belirlemek amacı doğrultusunda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada Güzel Sanatlar Liseleri Müzik Bölümlerinde piyano eğitimi alan öğrencilerin piyano dersi akademik başarılarını artırmaya yönelik, öğretmen görüşleri hazırlanan anket aracılığı ile belirlenmiş, Ege Bölgesi Güzel Sanatlar Liseleri'nde uygulanan çalışmada öğretmenlerin piyano dersi için ihtiyaç duyulan fiziki şartlar, ders programı, öğrenci motivasyonu ve öğretmen-öğrenci iletişimi hakkındaki görüşleri durum tespiti değerlendirmesiyle ele alınmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 20 paket programında çözümlenmiş ve çözümlemelerde p<.01 anlamlılık düzeyi esas alınmıştır. Anket sonucu elde edilen veriler frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapmalarla açıklanmış ve yorumlanmıştır. Ayrıca, ikili gruplarda bağımsız örneklemler için t-Testi, ikiden fazla gruplarda Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) uygulanmıştır. Yapılan araştırma sonucunda Ege Bölgesi Güzel Sanatlar Liseleri öğrencilerinin piyano dersi başarısını etkileyen etmenlere ilişkin araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin; öğrenim durumları, cinsiyet, mezun olunan bölüm, ana çalgılarının piyano olup olmaması ve hizmet süreleri incelendiğinde; bu değişkenlere göre öğretmen görüşleri arasında anlamlı farklılık olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada, bir ders saatinde çoğunlukla 2 ve 3 öğrenciyle piyano dersi yapıldığı, Ege Bölgesi Güzel Sanatlar Liseleri'nde fiziki şartların uygunluğu ve piyano dersi programı içeriği açılarından bir takım problemlerin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin piyano eşliği yapmaya ve konserlerde yer almaya istekli oldukları saptanmakla birlikte, piyano eğitiminde öğretmen-öğrenci iletişimine ilişkin olarak: okullarda anlayış ve hoş görülü bir ortamın olduğu, istenilen davranışları sergileyen öğrenciler için ödüllendirme yolunun kullanıldığı ve piyano dersinin başarıya ulaşması için okul yönetimi ve ailelerin ders sürecine dahil edildikleri sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Ulaşılan sonuçlara ilişkin olarak çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The aim of this study is to define the reasons that effects the students' academic success at piano classes in fine art high schools accross the Aegean region. At this study, teachers' opinions to increase the students' academic success who take piano classes at department of music in fine art high schools identified through a survey, in Aegean district study at fine arts high schools, the teachers' opinions about physical conditions, syllabus, student motivation, teacher-student interaction which are needed by teachers at piano classes are discussed due diligence assessment. The result data is analyzed with SPSS 20 software packages and p<.01 level of significance is based. The survey results are explained and interpreted with frequency, percentage, mean and Standard deviations. Also, for independent samplings in groups of two t-Test, in more than two groups one-way Analysis of variance(ANOVA) are used. At the end of the study about factors affecting the piano classes academic success of students at fine arts high schools in Aegean Region, it is found that there is no significant difference between the opinions of the teachers according to variables such as education level, gender, graduation department, work experience and the main instrument is piano or not. In this study, it is found that at fine arts high schools in Aegean district, the physical conditions are sustainable, an hour piano class is done with 2 or 3 students but there are some problems with the content of the piano lesson. Students are eager to attend the concerts and like piano accompaniment, in piano education the teacher-student interaction is in a tolerant and pleasant way, there is a understanding and tolerant environment at schools, for desired student behaviour, reward system is used and for the success of piano classes school management and families are involved to process. Also some suggestions have been made for the results.
