Serebral palsili adölesanlarda el becerileri ile fonksiyonel bağımsızlık ve kaba motor fonksiyonlar arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Serebral Palsili adolesanlarda el becerileri ile fonksiyonel bağımsızlık ve kaba motor fonksiyon arasındaki ilişkisinin araştırılmasıdır. Yöntem: Çalışmaya 13-18 yaş arası Serebral Palsi tanısı almış 24 olgu (E: 16, K: 8) dâhil edildi. Çalışmaya dâhil edilen olguların fonksiyonel bağımsızlık düzeyi Çocuklar İçin Fonksiyonel Bağımsızlık Ölçümü, kaba motor fonksiyonları Kaba Motor Fonksiyon Ölçütü-88, günlük yaşamdaki el becerileri ise El Becerileri Sınıflandırma Sistemi kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Olguların yaş ortalamaları 15,20±1,61, Beden Kitle İndeksi ortalamaları 21,87±3,97 idi. Olguların 16’sı hemiparetik, 8’i ise diparetik idi. Yapılan korelasyon analizinde Fonksiyonel Bağımsızlık Ölçümü ile Kaba Motor Fonksiyon Ölçütü arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ve pozitif yönde kuvvetli ilişki (r=0,849, p<0,01), Fonksiyonel Bağımsızlık Ölçümü ile El Becerileri Sınıflandırma Sistemi arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ve negatif yönde orta derecede ilişki (r=- 0,626, p<0,01), Kaba Motor Fonksiyon Ölçütü ile El Becerileri Sınıflandırma Sistemi arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ve negatif yönlü orta derecede ilişki (r=-0,632, p<0,01) olduğu gözlemlendi. tartışma: Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre; fonksiyonel bağımsızlık düzeyi ve kaba motor fonksiyonları iyi olan diparetik ve hemiparetik Serebral Palsili çocukların el becerilerinin daha iyi olduğu sonucuna ulaşıldı.

Purpose: To investigate the relationship between hand skills, functional independence and gross motor function in adolescents with cerebral palsy. Method: Twenty-four patients (M: 16, F: 8) who were diagnosed with cerebral palsy between the ages of 13 and 18 were included in the study. The level of functional independence of the subjects included in the study was assessed using Functional Independence Measure for Children, gross motor functions Gross Motor Function Measure-88, and hand skills in daily life using the Manual Ability Classification System. Results: The mean age of the cases was 15,20±1,61, and the Body Mass Index averages were 21,87±3,97. Of the cases, 16 were hemiparetic and 8 were diparetic. There was statistically significant and strong positive correlation (r=0.849, p<0.01) between the Functional Independence Measure and the Gross Motor Function Measure; statistically significant and moderate negative correlation (r=-0.632, p<0.01) between the Functional Independence Measure and the Manual Ability Classification System; statistically significant and negative moderate correlation (r=-0.632, p<0.01) between the Gross Motor Function Measure and the Manual Ability Classification System. Conclusıon: According to the findings obtained from the study, it was concluded that children with diparetic and hemiparetic cerebral palsy whose functional independence level and gross motor functions were better had better hand skills.
