Aile öngörülemezliği, reddedilme duyarlılığı ve şiddet ilişkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı; aile öngörülemezliği, reddedilme duyarlılığı ve şiddete yönelik tutum arasındaki ilişkilerin ve değişkenlerdeki cinsiyet farkının incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın modeli ilişkisel tarama modelidir. Araştırma, çevrimiçi ortamda yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın örneklemini; 99 farklı üniversitede okuyan, 68 farklı şehirde yaşayan ve anne babası sağ olan 601 lisans öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada; “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, “Geçmişe Dönük Aile Öngörülemezliği Ölçeği”, “Reddedilme Duyarlılığı Ölçeği” ve “Şiddete Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Veriler, SPSS 21 programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde, Bağımsız Örneklemler t Testi, Mann Whithey U Testi, Pearson Korelasyon Analizi, Spearman Korelasyon Analizi ve Basit Doğrusal Regresyon Analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulguları değerlendirildiğinde; değişkenlerden sadece şiddete yönelik tutumun ve alt boyutlarının cinsiyete göre anlamlı olarak farklılaştığı ve erkeklerin şiddete yönelik tutumlara daha olumlu baktıkları saptanmıştır. Aile öngörülemezliği toplam puanı ve tüm alt boyutlarının, reddedilme duyarlılığı ile pozitif yönde ilişkili olduğu bulunmuştur. Aile öngörülemezliğiyle, şiddete yönelik tutum arasında genel olarak ilişki olmadığı, alt boyutlarla olan ilişkinin ise çok zayıf olduğu söylenebilir. Aralarındaki en güçlü ilişki, baba disiplin öngörülemezliği ve bedensel ceza alt boyutu arasındadır, ancak bu ilişki de zayıf olarak nitelendirilebilir. Yapılan Basit Regresyon Analizi sonucunda; reddedilme duyarlılığındaki varyansın; öğünlerle ilgili öngörülemezlikler ile anne doyum ve disiplin öngörülemezlikleri yaklaşık %1’ini, finansal öngörülemezlikler ve baba disiplin öngörülemezliği %2’sini, baba doyum öngörülemezliği %3’ünü ve genel aile öngörülemezliği ise %4’ünü açıklamıştır. Babanın öngörülemeyen davranışlarının, reddedilme duyarlılığı üzerinde daha büyük etkisi olduğu söylenebilir. Araştırmanın diğer bulgusu; reddedilme duyarlılığının, suç ve savaş şiddetindeki varyansın yaklaşık %1’ini açıklamasıdır. Araştırmanın bulguları; alanyazın ışığında tartışılmış ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmacılara ve uygulamaya yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The aim of this study is to examine the relationships between family unpredictability, rejection sensitivity and attitudes towards violence, and the gender difference in variables. The research model is the relational survey model. The research was conducted online. The sample of the research; it consists of 601 undergraduate students studying at 99 different universities, living in 68 different cities, and having healthy parents. In this research; “Personal Information Form”, “The Retrospective Family Unpredictability Scale”, “Rejection Sensitivity Scale” and “Attitudes Toward Violence Scale” were utilized. The data were analyzed with the SPSS 21 program. Independent Samples t Test, Mann Whithey U Test, Pearson Correlation Analysis, Spearman Correlation Analysis and Simple Linear Regression Analysis were used in the analysis of the data. When the findings of the research were evaluated; among the variables, only the attitude towards violence and its sub-dimensions differed significantly according to gender, and it was determined that the attitudes of men towards violence were more positive. Family unpredictability total score and all sub-dimensions were found to be positively associated with rejection sensitivity. It can be said that there is no relationship between family unpredictability and attitudes towards violence in general, and the relationship with sub-dimensions is very weak. The strongest relationship between them is between the unpredictability of the father discipline and the corporal punishment sub-dimension, but this relationship can also be described as weak. As a result of the Simple Regression analysis; the variance in rejection sensitivity; the unpredictability of the meal and the unpredictability of the maternal nurturance and the unpredictability of the mother discipline accounted for approximately 1%, the unpredictability of the financial and the unpredictability of the father discipline 2%, the unpredictability of the father nurturance 3%, and general family unpredictability 4%. It can be said that the father's unpredictable behaviors have a greater effect on rejection sensitivity. The other finding of the study; is that the rejection sensitivity explains approximately 1% of the variance in crime and war violence. The findings of the research, were discussed and interpreted in the light of the literature. Suggestions for researchers and practice were made.
